TEAM provides a range of cleaning processes that have been approved for use in the aerospace industry. These processes cover basic cleaning as well as more advanced options such as three and four step heavy duty alkaline cleaning, cleanliness verification, steam cleaning, and passivation. With this variety of cleaning options, TEAM can help customers ensure that their parts and components are thoroughly and appropriately cleaned to meet industry standards.
Etching
At TEAM, we offer a variety of etching processes for our clients, including Macro Etch, Pre-Penetrant Etch, Anodic Etch, Alpha Case Removal, and Blue Etch Anodizing (BEA). BEA is a specialized and highly sensitive inspection technique and used specifically for detecting surface discontinuities and material defects found in titanium components, which may have been caused by machining and forging processes. As one of the few companies in North America with the expertise and capability to utilize this advanced technology, TEAM can provide our clients in the aerospace industry with unparalleled service and support.
Chemical Stripping
TEAM possesses a comprehensive range of chemical stripping capabilities, encompassing, but not limited to the following: grit blasting, topcoat removal, bondcoat removal, silver coating removal, nickel coatings removal, platinum aluminide coatings removal, hardcoat removal, cladding removal, nickel-chromium thermal spray coating removal, tungsten carbide coating removal, and anticorrosion coating and paint removal.
